~Lighthouse Standing Tall~ #2

I'd like to be a lighthouse
All scrubbed and painted white
I'd like to be a lighthouse
And stay away all night
To keep my eye on everything
That sails my way of sea
I'd like to be a lighthouse and bring
All the ships to port in safety

~ Days In The Winter~#4

I like days in the winter
When my paths are packed with snow
And my feet make creaky footsteps
Wherever my footsteps go
I like the days in the winter
When snow lies soft and deep
And my footsteps go so quietly
You'd think they were asleep

~Baseball~#3

Home to me is not a house
Filled with family faces
Home is where I slides in free
By rounding all my bases
A tie to me is not clothing like a hat
Its means that the game is even up
And I wish I were at bat

~Am I~ #1

The Praire goes to the mountains
Mountains goes to the sky
The sky sweeps across the distant hills
And here in the middle
Am I
Hills crowd down the rivers
Rivers run pass the trees
Trees throws their shadows on sunburnt grass
And here in the shadows
Is Me
My shadows creeps up the mountains goes black on the skies
The sky bursts out into a million stars
And here by the campfires
Am I

~Two Best Friends~

Lenda and Shelly have
two pierced ears and
two bare ones
six pigtails
two pairs of sneakers
four berets
two smiles
one necklace
two bracelets
lots of stripes and
one good friendship

~Rain In Our City~#5

Rain in our city!
I enjoy to see it fall
Slantwise where the buildings crowd
Brown bricks in all
Streets and parking lots of shiny wetness
Where the taxis go
Lots of people with umbrellas
bobbing to and fro
Rain in my city!
I love to hear the drip drops
When Im cosy in my room
Snug as any ship
with paper spread on the table
With a puzzle book or two
And the rain like a rumbling tune
That sings through everything I do
